A STUNNING EARLY 20th CENTURY VICTORIAN VIZAGAPATAM TRINKET BOXOffered for sale is this beautiful early 20th century Anglo-Indian hinge lidded top trinket box, intricately decorated with inlayed faux? bone, pewter and rosewood. The base has the original baize lining and internally it is complete the original baize lining, original stop hinges and lock which is in working order with a key. Please take time to study the photographs of this beautiful original box.The condition of this box is quite outstanding with no major damage, warping, splits, missing or lose inlay, or previous restoration/repair work. The only defects are very minor insignificant cracks to the triangular shaped faux bone inlay: one on the lid (see photo 3), two on the front panel (see photo 2), one on the side (see photo 7) and to the rear panel (see photo 6), but these do not detract from the beautiful appearance of this lovely box.The box measures 150mm long x 100mm wide x 55mm high.
