Description:A Russian shaded cloisonné enamel small kovsh, 6th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917. Of typical form with shaped prow and hook handle, the exterior enameled with stylized geometric ornament against shaded yellow, green, and lavender green among shaded enamel flowerheads and applied cloisons, the upper rim, prow, and top of the handle enameled with stylized blossoms in shades of yellow and peach against a forest green ground relieved by applied cloisons. Struck with maker’s mark, 84 standard, and retailer’s inventory number M184.
Dimensions: Length 4 1/8 in. (8 cm). Stock No. 1702-032
Condition: Overall very good condition. Some moderate loss to the gilding on the underside of handle. Interior gilding in excellent condition for age and use. Exterior enamel in excellent condition.
