When I saw it at first, the caucasian Gengecame to my mind, but when I looked at it closely from both front and back, I realized that it is an antique Persian Kurdish, If you refer to the close-up and view the main border, you usually see that design in Kurdish rug. It is in very good shape for its age, low even pile from top to bottom, both ends are intact and shows no wears.
