For sale today we have this Striking Doulton Lambeth Pitcher by Senior Artist (and father of some very talented children) Arthur Barlow. Potted from a white clay (presumably to give more punch to the blue) the swollen bodied ewer features a repeated \"crossed leaf\" decoration to the entirety of the piece- these are highlighted with an applied decorative rosette to the centre of each, while there is a rope effect border to the base of the neck. Agood size at 8 1/4 \" tall x 4 1/4 \" dia . Stamped with the Doulton Lambeth mark and dated 1874- incised mark \"A.B.B. 13\" for Arthur Barlow.

A striking pitcher that is presented to the market in outstanding condition being free of any damage or repair. Would enhanceany serious Doulton collection.
