Chinese - dating from the first half of the 20thcentury.
Superbly hand constructed from sections of flush jointed rose-wood timber.
The top platform incorporates a single circular groove and is finished with a moulded rim. The platform stands above a carved and pierced shoulder - the shoulder incorporates five scrolling supporting feet, each one fitted with a ball form tip.
This fine example is heavy in form and is of superb quality.Overall height - 5 3/4\" (146mm), platform max \'flat\' usable diameter - 7 7/8\" (200mm), platform max diameter - 8 5/8\" (219mm). Overall diameter - 10 7/8\" (276mm).

Condition - Very Good. No chips, no cracks and no repairs. Fine natural colour and patina
