I will ship overseas BUTplease make contact for shipping cost BEFORE placing a offer.A SUPER 19th VICTORIAN TIGER OAK INK STAND & STATIONARY BOXOffered for sale is this fine 19th century Victorian tiger oak ink stand with a pen holder and front drawer to the base, which is on turned bun feet; and a domed topped hinge lidded stationary box, having a shaped fretted cartouche and escutcheon, complete with a lock in working order with a key provided. The external wood has a nice rich grain finish and a super original patina. The two inkwells are of a good quality, heavy and cut glass with silver plated opening collars and hinges. The internal of the stationary box has the original linings and compartment partitions but one partition is missing. Please take time too study the photographs in order to gain an appreciation of this lovely item which would great on a desk or writing table etc.The condition is excellent with no major damage, spits, cracks or previous restoration/repair work; there a some very minor knocks due to age/use and one of the inkwells has a chip to the base at the back but cannot be seen when placed in the recess, and there a a very small chip to the same inkwell to the corner of the top.The stand measures overall 310mm wide x 220mm deep x 240mm high.Please make contact with any questions or buy nowoffers
