A Superb Rare Solid Silver George 11 Hanoverian, Old English Pattern Salt Spoon by Esther Forbes, Assay Hallmarked, Dublin c1734 - 1735.
This is a lovely early salt spoon, in fine condition for it\'s 284 years of age and usage, the hallmarked are squashed and worn, as is the usual case with these early markings but visible enough to make an identity, and it also has an armorial on the top of the stem.
It would still make a great collectors item, or a lovely present for someone special, or even as christening or wedding gift.The length is 4\" and it weighs: 11.3 grams.

PS Silver is very difficult tophotograph because it\'s reflection picks up the photographer, hence any tinging. Also, these items are not new, most are over 100 years old, some 200 and over, so will have some defects, unless they had a charmed life.
