A Superb Vintage, Solid Silver, Clam Shell, Sugar Sifter Spoon, by John Sherwood & Sons, Assay Hallmarked, Birmingham 1904.
This is a beautiful spoon, with a pierced Gilded Clam Shell bowl, extending into a Barley twist central stem, that sweep up to a rolled T-top, which also has a gilt wash, with exquisite workmanship and design on this excellent spoon, making it a great collectors piece, or as a lovely christening or wedding gift etc.The spoon is 5-3/4\" in length, and the silver weight is: 22g.

PS Silver is very difficult tophotograph because it\'s reflection picks up the photographer, hence any tinging.Also, these items are not new, most are over 100 years old, some 200 and over, so will have some defects, unless they had a charmed life.
