$11300.00

We are pleased to offer a Large Famille Rose Hu-Form Vase from the Qing Dynasty. The vase is potted of baluster form with a pair of bamboo-form handles flanking the neck. The body is completely decorated with canals, bridges, pagodas, and landscaped gardens set amongst a background of mountains. The scenery is thought to depict an area near Jingdezhen where porcelain was made for the Imperial palace.
Landscape vases from the Qing Dynasty to Republic Period are very rare and have seen sale results upwards of $400,000 for some examples. A vase almost identical to this example, and possibly by the same potter, but of different design sold at Christie\'s for $30,000.
The vase is in very fine condition with very minor wear. The painting is quite remarkable and extremely detailed. Authenticity is guaranteed.
