Description:
Here\'s a unique and very pretty19th Century pottery vase from the Rudolstadt Pottery of Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany (E. Germany). This stunning bulbous shaped two handledvase has what I can best describe as a \"orange peel type\" pottery texture. Itis beautifully decorated with blue flowersand trailing vines. The vase has two unique applied handles. The condition of the vase is very good. There are NOchips, NOcracks, NOhairlines and NOrepairs. It measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and about 6 inches from handle to handle. It is marked on the bottom with the \"RW\" within a shield under a crown and also the number \"1604\" and a number \"15\". The mark on thisvase dates to the 1880\'s....pieces with this same mark and the word \"Germany\" were made after 1890. This piece does NOTinclude the word Germany. This fine vase is being offered to YOUat a LOW starting offer and a reasonable and fair reserve. It would look just lovely sitting on a mantle or displayed in a curio cabinet! Shipping:All items ship via US Priority Mail unless otherwise noted. Items will ship within 4 business days of receipt of payment. Please note that my local Post Office has shortened hours on Saturdays. I normally DO NOT make trips to the Post Office on Saturdays. Shipments will be sent to all Domestic buyers with USPS Delivery Confirmation. You will not be charged for this service. I will pay the cost of USPS Delivery Confirmation. USPS Delivery Confirmation enables both you and me to track the shipment through the Postal Service system to delivery at your residence or place business. Items paid via PayPal will ship within 4 business days of receipt of payment.
