A great looking vintage colibri petrol table cigarette lighter:

For sale is a great looking vintage Colibri \"Monopol\" petrol lighter dating from 1950 and it sparks. The condition is very good considering its age but does have very minor wear to the edges, (3ins length/1.25ins depth/2.75ins height). The base is stamped with \"Colibri Monopol Patented Foreign\" probably made in Germany after the war.Colibri was started by Julius Lowenthal (1892-1970) in the 1930s and lighters were produced regularly in Germany and Switzerland and after the war in England. In the 1930s Colibri patented an automatic lighter, this gave birth to the Monopol series which were solely petrol.
The lighter has not been tested with petrol so is sold as seen, therefore, ask questions and look at the pictures as I also have a policy of no returns. I only send my items recorded sign for delivery, so postage is higher but safer. I welcome both Paypal and postal orders.
