A stunning pair of hand painted in enamel Chinese vases, marked on the base with a 6 character seal mark forDa Qing Tongzhi Nian Zhi- \"Great Qing Tongzhi (1862-74) Period Make\". Probably Guangxu (1875-1908) period or somewhat later., possibly Republican Period. Good quality stamped mark.Decorated with chrysanthemums in bright bold colours against a peach coloured ground.Each vase is in perfect condition with no marks, chips, scuffs or losses and present very well indeed.Of a rounded square form, tapering to slightly narrower foot rim.Standing 32cm tall and measuring 22cm in diameter, these are a good size and very beautiful.
