Over the courseof the next few days I will be listing a huge assortment of doll dresses, wigs,shoes and accessories. There will be a few lots, but most will be sold assingle items, allowing you to purchase just what you may need. The items willrange from antique to newer. Because of the volume, my descriptions will bebrief but pertinent to the item listed. All clothing is clean and I lightlypressed each item to aid in spotting any flaws. All relevant and obvious flawswill be noted. I strive for accuracy, but may miss a tiny pin prick or a tinyloose seam. Nothing very obvious will be missed. Most of the items listed havebeen purchased over the years at sales and estate sales etc. Some items havebeen removed from antique dolls that I purchased and redressed. Some of thewigs may have that “antiqued” smell that I don’t find offensive, but othersmight. Just imagine how your hair would smell if it hadn’t been washed in 75+years! LOL I have ruined a few antique wigs in the past by trying to cleanthem, so I no longer do. My household is non-smoking, though not pet free. If Iknow the fabric, I will state it, otherwise I won’t. I am far from an expert.With all that being said, again please keep in mind that some of these itemsare very old and may not be perfect. If you are looking for perfect, and whilesome of the newer might be, please refrain from offerding as all of the itemslisted are being sold “AS IS”. This sale is for a newer antique style French doll dress and matching hat. I purchased this set brand new and never used it. The color is light yellow cotton with chocolate trimming. The dress is dropped waist and closes with three snaps. The hat is so cute with layers of ruffles. It sits just at the top of the head and then ties under the chin. No flaws.
