Sterling Silver Pin / Brooch by Alfred James Cheshire.

This is an antique Sterling Silver Pin or Brooch with full English Hallmark.

It was made by Alfred James Cheshire using the maker mark A.J.C. The hallmark has the Chester city mark. We think the date code letter is \"B\" which corresponds to the year 1902 (see pictures).

The lion, part of any English sterling silver mark, is found on both the front and back of the piece.

It measures 43.0mm in length and is 16.8mm high at its highest point near the center. The pin weighs 2.0 grams.

Condition: Very good to excellent. There is no damage or problems of significance. Some surfaces show some tarnish which we have left as found. All pictures show the actual pin/brooch you will receive.

The intricate and detailed surface chasing on the front demonstrates Cheshire\'s skill with silver. This is a great opportunity to add an example of his work to your silver collection.
