"CAPTAIN AMERICA" #39 Cover Only (lotsa Wear & tears, tape on back) plus a B&W inside back cover AD for "ALL WINNERS #2, As-Is. Suitable for Framing - See Scans.This Vintage Comic Book HAS NOT been Graded by a paid Professional, Has NOT had Any restoration or repairs, Sold As-Is - SEE QUALITY SCANS & DIGITAL IMAGES ... Judge the Condition yourself, I purchased this comic (am 2nd owner) & had it signed in 1978 .. it's been stored for decades.THIS Comic had only 1 single Staple & probably never had the missing center page section .. There are a few pages (SUB MARINER Story) which appears to have never been trimmed properly at the top & the black registration lines are still visible (printing Defect?)..Has edge chunks out,maybe the Original Owner took his finger & had torn the top of these pages to read the book?
MY DESCRIPTION:
The FRONT COVER was Signed by Schomburg in Blue Ball Point Pen ink above "WIN" in title, Has Bright colors, Still glossy, Flat, clean, No main image creasing, still a tight copy, Not too Brittle, has wear, has age yellowing, Has a 1/2" tear at top left edge area, No large tears, No major spine roll, Has spine & staple wear with some stress lines, chipping at top & bottom of spine, No Splitting, Has Distribution stamp in Top "W" area, No Cuts or loose pages. INTERIOR PAGES: Book isIN-Complete.. Missing Center pages (End of RED SKULL & Beginning of SUB Mariner Stories), Flat, Clean, Has some corner & edge wear, Pages are creamy to tan but Not too yellowed for it's age, Supple Not Brittle, Could Have staple oxidation but Not rusty, May have few edge tears, Has No writing, No tape, has some crooked pages, No Cuts, No Loose pages, May Have some small corner creases, or some wrinkles from being read. BACK COVER: flat, fairly clean, has age yellowing, some soiling, No tape, No tack holes, has edge tears, some creasing, dings, dents & or wrinkles, SEE SCANS & Digital Images Provided.Please See Scans & Digital Images provided & just Condition & Defects yourself - Any Questions Gladly Answered - Items Sold As-Is - a Nice Addition To Any Collection or ..
