Black Diamond Classics had previously released Walt Disney\'s Alice In Wonderland in May 1986 but as a slipcover version. This VHS is the very first version of the animated classic they release as a clamshell.Please NOTE that this Alice In Wonderland VHS is NOT one of the reprint versions later released in 1991 and after, which most are being sold on . What officially confirms with definitely proof that this VHS is, indeed, the real authentic original 1st edition Black Diamond Classics release of Disney\'s Alice In Wonderland (1951) on VHS clamshell from September 1986 and NOT from 1991 is located on the label side of the actual physical tape, itself, where it reads a set of code numbers that translate to the month, day, and year of 1986, which is the actual date when this tap was officially released. Please refer to the pictures to see this proof of date release.The VHS casing is in very good cosmetic condition. No decreases, discoloring, cracks, scratches, tears, wrinkles, nor damage to the external body. The plastic exterior housing the sleeve may be a bit warped but nothing major.
