Here is an amazing ancient Chinese Bimetallic sword which is incredibly RARE. Ancient weapons collectors and enthusiasts will know exactly how special this sword is and what it is but for those who do not know,this type of sword dates from the Chinese Warring States period of approximately 475 BC to 221 BC. What makes it so special is that it is made with two distinct types of bronze,being a thin \"spine\" of softer more flexible bronze in the centre and two harder cutting edges on either side. This example also has a beautiful \"veins\" pattern all over the harder sections. The craftsmanship involved in making such a sword is quite outstanding considering how old it is! The sword is 21 inches long and in good condition with no breaks or repairs to the blade. It is missing a section of the pommel but this is not a big issue considering how rare it is. You would search a long time to find another one of these as it is only the second one I have ever seen in 20 years of collecting. This did not come direct from China,I obtained it from the UK some time ago. Guaranteed absolutely unconditionally to be genuine.
