Collectible3150 - AMAZING OLD VINTAGE RUSSIAN GILT SILVER SHELL POWDERBOX w/ MIRROR!!!The box ismade of white-pink colour Bakelite or plasticcover, depicting beautiful Sea shell. The shell is set in beautiful silverframe. All parts inside are gilt and there you can see the mark for it.The boxis empty of powder but the open and close mechanism inside still working. Themirror has some minor spots but it is intact. There is a crack on the uppershell but it is stable and it is not a big deal. The box is marked inside withfour marks. The silver 875 mark (star with hammer and sickle, finenessmark875(87.5%), and unknown assay district mark*L*) showsthat the box is made about 1958s. Excellent vintage boxin finecondition!!!It would be a perfect addition to any collection.
