AMAZING Vintage 1880\'s Indigo Blue & White Wild Goose Chase Antique Quilt!
This DAZZLING vintage 1880\'s indigo blue and white wild goose chase quilt is hand pieced and hand and machine quilted, with an unusually small scale.
It measures 64\" X 80\" and is in good condition, with the beginnings of deterioration in the white fabrics (including the binding) in approximately 10-20% of the quilt -- see photos.
There are straight line and diamond designs quilted throughout at 9-10 stitches to the inch.
The back and machine stitched binding is white, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.The VIBRANT INDIGO STAR PRINTS, EYE CATCHING DESIGN, and SMALL PIECES make this 19th century COLLECTOR\'S QUILT stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
