Here is an original 51 year old AMT issued 1:25th scale NIB \"Craftsman\" (#4324-100) kit of a 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente hardtop, cast in what would appear to be a likeness of the Ford color Rangoon Red .As far as I can determine through my research, this kit is absolutely complete, including the directions. It is the original issue from 1964 that includes the chrome trophy and the dog mascot; later releases of this kit did not include those items. The body is intact (there are a couple of marks on the roof, just like when it was new, that should polish out; see photos), the glass is beautiful and the steering wheel is unbroken, although it is separted from the parts sprue, as are 2 of the interior tub retainers and the doggie mascot. There is no mis-started assembly, no painting, no glue. If you have a question about the model kit or a specific part, please send me a note thru the system. I am happy to respond to your inquiries. The box has some shelf wear, but is complete and intact. If you need another pic or two of the box to make up your mind, let me know and I will send it to you.
