Fine Meiji Japanese Silver Wired & Rimmed Cloisonne Enamel Vase.
Provenance: Japan.
Age: Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).
Size: The vase measures 18.5cm in height (7 1/4\" high) X 10cm in width.
Artist/signature: Unsigned (tested positive for silver).
Condition: The vase is in excellent condition with NO chipped, cracked, missing or restored enamel.
Comments: A fine and rare Meiji Japanese Wired Cloisonne Vase. The Vase is decorated with a variety of Japanese native flowers including Chrysanthemum and Peony, applied using silver wires on a cobalt blue ground. The vase is also mounted with silver rims.
