You are offerding on a rare antique Norwegian solid silver ladle. The piece measures approximately 7.5 inches long with the double sided bowl measuring 3.5 inches from tip to tip. This is an early piece possibly produced in Christiania ( Oslo ) or Bergen prior to the standard marks now used in Norway. It is hallmarked in two different location with \" GH 85 \". The handle is simple in design on the front with a tooled pattern on the back. There is also a small hook on the back. The exterior of the bowl is ornate with a gold washed interior.
