Beautiful complete Monarch stereoscope. Wood in great condition without chips or cracks. Handle and thumb slide work perfectly. It was rescued from a very dirty farmstead estate sale where it was covered in years of accumulated dust and dirt. I\'ve cleaned and oiled the wood and found it survived in amazing condition but could still use a little more restoration. I\'ve cleaned the metal pieces, but didn\'t get too aggressive. One area may be dirt or damage ( see last photo). The lens also need more cleaning. The felt is worn and cracking, but present and in need of restoration. The black paint inside is chipping off and needs restored.It\'s nice now, but could be improved with restoration. Questions happily answered. Satisfaction guaranteed.
