This wonderful piece of classic Police memorabilia is being offered by the family of its original owner! Decades ago, in the 1920\'s, in New Jersey, a family member owned a \"Hippodrome\" Theater. There, as legend, fact and photographs confirm, the local Police were constantly on patrol. As such, the theater owner, a family member, was given this by a local Policeman. It remained in the family, well stored, for decades, and was recently rediscovered. It is authentic, and a true vintage antique!
The stick measures approximately 11.5\" in length, with a diameter at the base of 1.25\", and at the head of 1\". At the head, there is a metal piece, a \"top\" which is in place and complete. At the base, there is a hole, for which we do not know the purpose. The stick seems \"weighted\". There is a circular hand grip at the top, and the \"markings\" throughout only further confirm the authenticity of the stick. All of this can be seen and verified in the photographs provided. This is a wonderful and rare piece, and one that would add much to any era, Police, vintage antique, or to almost any genre of classic memorabilia.
