Stunning 19thc Large Robinson and LeadbeaterParian Figure c1880
Asuperb large R&L coloured Parian figure standing 18 inches high on a base5.25 inches across.
Thefigure portrays a classical maiden, her hair styled in ringlets and curls. Hergown softly falling from her shoulders, a necklace circling her neck and a harpdecorated with a lions head in her hand.
Fabulous modelling with very fine crispdetail.
Softly painted in subdued shades of pink andblue and with wonderful skin tones.
Impressed on the base with R&L in an ovalcartouche.
Thecondition is very good with just a little restoration on the base rim (verywell done and difficult to detect).

Areally beautiful R&L large figure it displays very well indeed.
