Up for sale from estate, This beautiful Original ANTIQUE 19th /18th Century or earlier Framed Painting Of THE PRINCESS IN THE TOWER-The War of Roses. I don’t know much about antique art so please study pictures for condition details. May show wear due age. Amazing to look at, I’m not sure if it’s a painting of 2 boys? A boy and girl? Or twins? They look like royalty to me,they are wearing some kind of jewelry medallions around their neck? French? English? no visible markings of signature , the artist is a mystery to me, the frame is very old with a gold gilt rim, the nails in the back are very old and consistent with being over 100 years old, very cool to look at great for any collection, who ever painted this had great skill. Famous artist? The painting is about 8” wide and about 10” long. In the frame about 12 1/4” wide about 14 3/8” long. Frame needs to be cleaned up.
