ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON JESUS CHRIST THE PANTOCRATOR SILVER:

This is for a beautiful 19th Century Russian Orthodox icon of Jesus Christ. The painting appears to be oil on wood and measures just over 5\"x7\". The case is silver and brass. The silver is covered in a silver paint and the spots that don\'t have paint on them are oxidized. I believe the red fabric backing was replaced a long time ago, but I\'m not sure. There is some flaking from the silver paint and the paint on Jesus is cracked from age. There are 2 white spots on Jesus\' face that I think are original. They don\'t appear to be paint loss.

The silver case is unmarked and untested but is tarnished and does appear to be silver. The halo is brass.

I do my best to notice and note any damage or flaws with anything that I list, however I am human and do miss things.
