WONDERFUL find! Usually you see plateaus with a metal base, this is beautifully worn silver gilt wood etched mirrored plateau from FRANCE dating to the late 19th century. Mirror has etched flowers and leaves in circle in center and a garland of flowers and leaves circling the diameter of the piece. Sits on four wood feet (see last photo). No cracks in the mirror - just minor foxing and scratches as you would expect in a piece of this age. Measures 19.5\" long by 15\" wide by 2\" high. Gorgeous and rare piece.
