Antique 19th Century German solid silver and glass large and extremely decorative wine claret jug, etched glass body mounted with a silver collar profusely chased in a Rococo style, with scrolls and flowers, the jug rests on a shaped silver coaster embellished by a similar floral and scroll decoration.

The cover and the dish are Hallmarked German silver (800 standard), Heilbronn, year 1890\'s, Maker\'s mark for Bruckmann & Sohne, important manufacturer founded in the 1806. The lid is further stamped with the retailer\'s mark Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
