Description:

An extremely fine quality antique 19th Century Japanese mixed metal technique Shakudo buckle depicting a comical scene with one character looking out of a window at another. The main body of the buckle is silver, with a gold backing and inlaid gold to the box and outlining the cartouche bearing a signature and seal type makers mark
