The AMETHYST measures 0,7inch on 0,48inch

Each sterling Silver pattern has crimped rose cut DIAMONDS (45 diamonds total) - DIAMONDS have been tested

The head of the hatpin is sterling Silver and tested as such ( no mark); the pin is steel
