Antique 20th Continental solid silver and enamel vanity case / compact, of circular form, richly gilded, both sides beautifully decorated with pale blue guilloche\' enamel, the hinged cover also hand-painted with a dog. The quality of the depiction is very nice.

The inside is richly gilt, the cover is set with a mirror.

The cover is Hallmarked Continental silver (925, probably Austrian high standard), partial import mark for London, date about 1920-30.

CONDITION

In Good condition - General wear and a small loss to the enamel along the side.
