Description

Antique early 20th Century French Empire style Solid Silver and Glass Liquor Set, comprising of a pair of Claret jugs, six shot cups and a stray. Each glass body is cut with a reeded decoration. The silver mounts are richly gilt and chased with a an Empire-style decoration, cups with removable bases.Each part is Hallmarked French Silver (Minerva\'s head, 950 Standard silver purity), Maker\'s mark not found or rubbed but the piece has been made for the important Retailer Lapar, each part bearing the mark \"L. LAPAR\", active in Paris (please follow this link to Christie\'s). The set dates to year 1900\'s.

In Good Condition - General wear and small crack to the trays corner.
