Description
Antique early 20th Century Persian Islamic Solid Silver vase, extremely large and magnificent, of inverted baluster form, the body profusely engraved with a very detailed decoration featuring foliate scrolls with flowers and birds, with three large panels chased depicting a similar decoration in relief and three smaller panels engraved with heads. The piece is Hallmarked Persian silver (84 in Farsi language, 875 standard), city of Isfahan, maker's mark unknown to me, it dates to the 1900's.
