Magnificent Neu Tettau, Bavaria, figurine of a cherub riding on a large tom turkey. C1920s/30s, it is hand painted and has an incised number under the backstamp. I think that is 2699. It is quite a solid and imposing piece, measuring 23.5 cms (9 ¼ inches) high. It has no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The only thing I can find to mention is slight gilt wear to the gold line at the base, but only at the back of the figurine. For the rest of the measurements, turkey is 14 cms back to front and porcelain base is 11 cms across.
Local pick up, at the shop, is very welcome and I always combine post where possible, which saves you heaps.
Direct deposit is my favourite way of payment - all details will be on the invoice. PayPal will only be sent via registered mail within Australia - no exclusions to this as it protects us both. Please wait for invoice, before attempting to pay. Thank you! Postage is Australia Post price, plus a small charge to pay for the internal packaging used - this is new and not recycled. Local pick up, with cash payment, is welcome at Vermont South shop.
ATTENTION US buyers: please note that due to an additional $9 security surcharge added by Australia Post, it may no longer be feasible to ship items over 500 gms to the US. It also seems that AUS POST does not add that surcharge to the amount on the stamps. So please be aware of this before you suspect a seller of ripping you off! This is what it says on the AP site and yet there is NO increase on the amount shown for actual shipping, so it looks as though this charge will not be added to the stamps for the foreseeable future: Articles over 500g and all ECI and EPI services will be subject to an additional $9 security surcharge and may face transit delays of up to 48 hours.

I mail Tuesday through to Friday. As far as the new Buyers Protection is concerned, for those in doubt, please do check my response. I have yet to find that I cannot protect my buyers all on my own! It is that simple. This is my job, I am an honest and reliable seller. If I have stuffed up, then it is up to ME, not or PayPal, to fix it. And I have always done so with a good grace, I hope!
Direct debit is preferred, with money orders and PayPal as next choices. Email me with any questions before offerding, please. Overseas buyers very welcome. Buyer pays Australia Post cost plus basic cost to cover bubblewrap, packaging materials etc. International buyers please use PayPal. Please do not ask me to accept International Money Orders or checks as our banks charge too much and make us all wait too long for the funds!
