Description
This item up for sale is an Antique Plate made by B&T Co (Burley & Tyrrell). This plate is hand painted with the Norma Beauty Rose. It has a white rose with green leaves, and a brown thorny stem. Above the white rose in the background is an area that is painted in a rust color, and the rim is done in gold. The name D\'Arcy is printed just below the rose. You can see in the pictures the back stamp that has B&T Co, along with hand painted, and the Favorite Bavaria. Also stamp into the back of the plate is the numbers 3101 and 22. These would not show up in the pictures. The rim of this plate has a chip in it. Pictures #2 and #3 show the chip from the top and bottom. There is some wear in the gold gilt and some scratching in the top of the plate. Everything I have seen suggests that this plate was made in the early 1900\'s. It measures 8 3/4\" diameter.
