Description:

Here is an absolutely stunning piece of vintage hand done, wheel etched glass with spectacular STERLING SILVER overlay design. Pictures do not do this magnificent piece of antique glass justice.

This stunning Sterling Overlay Etched Pitcher measures over 7 inches high by over 6 inches wide, not including the etched handle.
It is fully signed in the sterling overlay at the rim, but it is hard to make out the company name.
The signature is difficult to make out, but there is a letter, then S Co., STERLING. This is stamped in the sterling overlay at the top of the pitcher.
This awesome Pitcher is in excellent condition especially given its age and intended use! There are no chips, hairlines or repairs. There is just the typical utensil scratches as this was probably used as a lemonade pitcher.
A wonderful piece of Americana - vintage high end piece of dinnerware found on a dining table in the Victorian and Art Nouveau Periods. The sterling oval at the front of the pitcher has engraved letters which look like D & H. Maybe this was used by the D & H Railroad?
A piece like this could never be made today for this low price!
