The plate on the front of this Brewster type BEAUTIFUL wooden stereoscope reads, \"Unis-France. Stereoscopes-Paris.\" The number \"76\" is on one end of the plate and \"3\" is on the other. Size of viewer is 6 3/8 x 4\" and it focuses perfectly with a great 3D effect. It comes with a box of 7 glass stereoviews and the Christmas card that was originally enclosed. The cover of the box reads, \"Vitra. Plaques Diapositives Tons Chauds, Ets. Cauchet et Cie. 6 x 13 Rueil...\" The stereoviews are 6cm x 13cm and fit in this stereoscope perfectly. The subject matter varies from a church, landscape scenes, a city building flying the US Flag and a car witha US License, and a coffee table with various items on it including a \"Holiday\" magazine and Chelsea cigarettes---quite a mixed bag. The Christmas card dates the stereoviews as \"rec\'d Dec.7, 1949\" and is written in English. However from the name of the giver (Henri Huguenin) and the writing on the box cover I am guessing these are views of someone\'s vacation in France. The stereoviewer is much older and probably dates to close to the turn of the last century. I offer a reduced postage amount for multiple items IF you email for the cost.
