Exquisite, nineteenth century Japanese bronze vase of thedesign that so influenced the Arts and Crafts period in the west. This fine vase exhibits just the tasteful style that would have been appreciated by Louis Comfort Tiffany or Gustav Stickley. Striking, cleanformfeaturing inlaid blue and green cloisonné fret patterning at the neck.Tasteful square design incorporating graceful curves, perfect harmony. Heavily cast, and in excellent antique conditionbearing a sublime deep brown patina.Measures approximately 7 3/4\" high.An outstanding centerpiece for the discriminating connoisseur of fine Asian antiques.
