Here we have a gorgeous antique bronze figural duck/goose incense burner, most likely of Chinese origin.The smooth surfaces are free of scratches, so the gorgeous patina just glows. The original lid is present and it, along with the tail end, feature beautifully detailed cast feathers. The eyes and face are soulful and the curled neck is sensuous -- a fabulous piece of sculpture for your home, and still usable for incense burning.It is heavy, weighing 2 lbs. 10 oz. Condition:Our photos are the most important part of our description. Please zoom in on them and examine them closely. Solid, stable piece with gorgeous patina. There is a divot on the back of the neck (see photo with orange arrow pointing to it) and a small spot underneath the rim of the upper bill that is either an uneven finish or a bit of a dent or chip. It occurs right where the inner seam in the mouth hits the edge. Lid is present and stays on well.
