Circa Late 1800s to Early 1900s
Thisbeautiful Victorian Rose Gold filled watch chain, is adorned with an exquisiteslide
featuring a glowing fire opal of soft blue in hue and
five sparkling ruby red crystals/pastes.
These beautiful stones glitter and glow catching the light from all angles.
The slide moves freely along the chain.
These chains were sturdily constructed to carry a fob, locket or watch.
They were worn, single or doubled to show off the locket or watch.
The locket is suspended from the chain with a Victorian Dog Clip.
The Dog Clip is signed by the Maker: D & C
for Daggett & Clapp - established in 1888 -1915
They made high quality watch chains, fobs, lockets and banglesAttached to the chain is an Extra Large Victorian Heart locket.
The face of the Heart locket features a carving of a Fleur De Lis.
The Fleur De Lissymbol is crisp,deep and highly detailed.
It embedded with sparkling clear pastes/crystals.
The back of the heart is smooth and unadorned.
The locket opens to reveal spaces for mementoes or 2 photos.
There are no interior frames but the construction of the locket provides
ridges around the inside.
The Heart locket can be unclipped and worn on any chain.The FleurDe Lis symbol traditionally has been used to represent
French royalty and is said to signify perfection, light and life.
It endures to this day in many forms and styles.The chain & slide are Rose Gold in hue.
The locket is somewhere between Yellow & Rose Gold in hue.
This ensemble will compliment Rose or Yellow Gold jewellery.
Any pendant or locket can be clippedonto this watch chain.
