Iam clearing out my grandparent\'s loft and ive come across this bottle along with a small wooden piece as they were wrapped together and kept in a tin ive decided to list together.it may have nothing to do with the bottle but iam keeping them together just READ ALL BEFORE YOU offer FOR CONDITION ETCfor your consideration is a mid 19th century small snuff bottle.the bottle is a very early form of pottery.due to age it does have age related chips...but this is a rare RARE BLUE AND WHITE SNUFF BOTTLEDecorated in a cobalt blue under glazed .the bottle is a flattened rounded hexagonal bottle on a raised foot.HAND PAINTED DECORATION OF THE SYMBOLYIN / YANGalso hand painted in cobalt blue around the sides too.Size approx..1 3/4\" HIGH X 1 1/4\" WIDE X 3/8\" THICK.NO STOPPER OR SPOON..DUE TO AGE ITS TO BE EXPECTED.all in all a beautifully made and hand painted design snuff similar bottle can be found in the chinese collectables of 19th century book
