Description: Fine Chinese Late Qing Dynasty to Early Republic Period Porcelain Vase, delicately hand-painted in shades of underglazed blue on a white ground, beautifully decorated in traditional Chinese taste, depicting a well painted figural scene of the Eight Immortals in procession, each holding an attribute, pursuing various activities, in a picturesque landscape setting of hilltops, pine branches, and surrounding overhead bats.xxxxx: Meticulously potted, the paste of the porcelain is finely molded in a smooth moderately thin wall of globular shape, formed with a short neck, broad shoulders sloped gradually to a bulbous body, narrowing to a flat footrim, concaved at the bottom. xxxxx: The condition of the vase (jar) is virtually perfect, with only minor indiscernible indications of normal wear, without clips, cracks, or repairs.
