Dial: Porcelain & brass dial, Arabic numerals with red fluer de lys inbetween, original black french hands- dial in excellent condition with no damage protected by thick bevelled glass doorMovement:8 day french bell striking movement with original pendulum & new winding key - very clean and working perfectly just been professionally servicedDate: Circa - 1855Origin: FrenchMaker: Vincenti Paris - medal stamp impressed and dated to movementDimensions: 15.5\" high x 8.5\" wide x 7.5\" deep (inches)DescriptionVery rare and beautiful celedon majolica porcelain and ormolu bronze mounted case of very unusual design and i must admit one of the nicest most unusual antique french clocks i have ever seenSuperb bell shape design celedon porcelain body with rounded corner square base, the whole clock dripping in original bronze ormolu mounts which give it an awesome display lookThe case has dragon feet which are supported by the base with cherub head mounts to sides and a superb top bell design with a bell stand and bell to centre of itThe quality of the porcelain and bronze is absolutely superb and second to none and i am sure the pictures describe it a lot better than meThe porcelain is hard paste porcelain and has a makers mark to base of a sceptor and lettering beneath itThe clock is finished to the back so can be used as a central table display piece also and is one of the nicest looking french clocks i have ever had the pleasure to own in mint conditionThe clock is in mint condition for age as i am sure you can see from the photographsDo not miss this very rare and impressive french porcelain and bronze ormolu mantel clock
