I am selling a family estate and will be listing many fantastic antiques, art and estate items.

This is a superb antique signed continental bronze of Ariadne and the Pantherby Johann Heinrich Von Dannecker.The detail on this bronze is beautiful and it isextremely heavy. It may have originally had a base.The condition isvery goodwith a beautiful original patina. Thereare a few spots of discoloration. Please see all photos as that is part of the description. This bronze was appraised by a top sale house and authenticated as mid 19th century or earlier. An almost identical one sold at Christies for over $12,000. There is a signature etched into the bronze signed Von Dannecker. He died in 1841 so this could possibly be an original. Size is 15 1/2\" tall x 12\" wide at the base. It needs a cleaning as it has been on a table for 40 years but I have left it as found.
