This beautiful antique book of \'Common Prayer\' features Leather covers,front and back. The spine binds them together is attached to the book body(minus a couple of loose inset pages that have protuded and are turned down. The Front and Back are no longer attached to the spine.
The pages consists of gold gilt edges,and the book closes with a small brass clasp.

The inside page has a dedication,which appears to bePresented to William Harris Janturnon Oct. 18th, 1880 in Maryland. The frontcover is embossed with what appears to be, \"ihs\",at the center of an elaborate embossed decoration ~ Protestant Episcopal Church?
Book measures, 4\" x 2-7/8\" and is inantique condition! A very beautiful little book!!
