LARGE ANTIQUE DOCUMENT BOX, MADE OF WOOD.HAS LOTS OF WEAR & TEAR, LID DOES NOT CLOSE PROPERLY LEAVING A GAP. HAS LOTS OF SCRATCH MARKS. ONE HINGE HAS BEEN REPLACED ALONG TIMEAGO, MAYBE BOTH AT DIFFERENT TIMES. LOCK IS NOT ORIGINAL, BEEN REPLACED AT SOMETIME BY SOMEONE WHO QUITE CLEARLY DID NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY WERE DOING. CONSEQUENTLY THEY ENDED UP DOING A VERY BAD JOB. NO KEY COMES WITH THIS BOX.THIS OLD BOX DESERVES TO BE RESTORED,SO I HOPE SOMEONE WILL TAKE IT ON.PLEASE SEE OUR PHOTOS AS YOU CAN SEE ALL THE ABOVE CLEARLY.THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.APPROX SIZE 47 cm x 15 cm x 29 cm
