Antique Dutch sterling silver purse frame... this ornate purse frame depicts four women on either side doing different tasks. The measurements are as follows: Chain drops 8\", Frame is 6 1/2\" in length, and is 1/2\" wide when closed. Frame is approx. 1\" wide. There are three different hallmarks (see in photos) on rings that attach to the chain. Sword, Dutch silver hallmark , ornamental cartouche with a number 3, which indicates the objects weight class, GR makers mark. Total weight of piece is 5.2 oz. It is in very good condition.
