ANTIQUE EARLY 19thC GEORGIAN OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATED 3 PIECE TEA SET, c1820:

A superb quality old Sheffield plate three piece tea set comprising a tea pot, sugar and creamer,dating to circa 1810-1820.
Each piece is decoratedwith half reeded body, and gadrooned wide floral embossed rim and acanthus leaf handles. The tea pot has an ebony handle and finial on reeded lid.
The underside of each piecebears the makers mark of a Bell into an oval, for Roberts, Cadnam & Co - their mark used between 1785 and 1828. The ornate Recency decoration and lamp shape dates it to the very early 19th Century.
