Up for offers is thisvery nice and rare Victorian Ostby & Barton solid 10k White Gold Cameo Brooch / Pin. This is in excellent, gently used condition. Only issues are the pin on back is slightly bent and there is a tiny spot between the flowers and the frame that looks like a tiny little chip, but under magnification appears to be a natural variation in the shell and is not damage. Cameo is hallmarked OB 10k on the bail. This is a nice larger sized cameo, it measures a tad under 1 1/2\" long x 1 1/8\" wide at widest point. Cameo weighs 5.5g. This was carved by a master carver. Very nice & rare hand carved piece!

This is a rare find and a treasure indeed! Being Ostby & Barton... it is also a great investment! One hundred and three years ago this next April 15th, the Titanic went down with Ostby on board. He perished, while his daughter was saved.
